The KOSPI index closed at 2,501.24, up 20.61 points (0.83%), settling above the 2,500 mark on the 22nd. Dealers are seen working in the dealing room at the Hana Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. The KOSDAQ index ended trading down 3.66 points (0.54%) at 677.01.
