Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province successfully concluded the 42nd Gyeongsangnam-do Folk Arts Festival held over two days from the 19th to the 20th at Hamju Park Multipurpose Lawn Field.
Hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do and co-organized by Haman-gun and the Haman Cultural Center, the Gyeongnam Folk Arts Festival featured enthusiastic competitions among teams from 10 cities and counties within the province.
As a result of the intense competition, Goseong-gun's ‘Goseong Nongak’ won the Grand Prize, Changnyeong-gun's ‘Simugujinori’ received the Excellence Award, Uiryeong-gun's ‘Jipdolgeum Nongak’ earned the Gold Prize, Changwon-si's ‘Yeongnam Samhoehyangnori’ took the Silver Prize, Haman-gun's ‘Haman-gun Buk Maegunori’ was awarded the Bronze Prize, and Geoje-si's ‘Salbangkkaebalsori’ received the Encouragement Award. For individual awards, Mr. Kim Jong-wan from Sancheong-gun received the Guidance Award, while Mr. Park Ki-su from Tongyeong, Mr. Hyeong Nam-su from Hapcheon, and Ms. Kim Bun-soon from Geoje were honored with Performance Awards.
