At 2:38 PM on the 15th, during the sentencing trial of Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act, held at the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 34 (Presiding Judge Han Seong-jin), the court stated, "The change of use for the Baekhyeon-dong site was based on Seongnam City's independent judgment, and it is assessed that the defendant himself reviewed and changed it."
