This meeting was held as the formation of the new U.S. administration is accelerating, increasing the need for close cooperation between the Trade Negotiation Headquarters and commercial attach?s. A Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy official stated, "Once the new U.S. administration's trade and industrial policies are announced, significant changes are expected in the global economy and security, which could directly or indirectly affect our industrial and trade environment.
