Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 12th that Pocheon City Yeongbuk High School (Principal Ryu Gwi-yeol) achieved remarkable results by winning 1 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals at the ‘3rd Korea Drone Skills Competition’ held in Incheon.

원본보기 아이콘The ‘Korea Drone Skills Competition’ is a contest that comprehensively evaluates drone-related skills such as drone programming, flight precision, and obstacle detection, and is recognized as a platform for aspiring drone experts to test their abilities.
This competition selected two tasks including drone manufacturing, coding, and autonomous flight, and was held in divisions for elementary and middle school, high school, and university students.
Yeongbuk High School students demonstrated the skills they honed through the school’s systematic and professional drone education curriculum, proving that Yeongbuk High School plays a leading role in the drone field.
Principal Ryu Gwi-yeol of Yeongbuk High School said, “I am very proud of the students who achieved excellent results,” and added, “We will continue to improve the practical training environment and strengthen education to enhance employment capabilities, nurturing talents who will lead future technologies.”
