원본보기 아이콘President Yoon Suk-yeol sent a congratulatory message to former U.S. President Donald Trump, who is expected to win the 47th U.S. presidential election on the 6th.
On the same day, President Yoon posted on the social networking service X (formerly Twitter), saying, "Congratulations!" and added, "Under the strong leadership you have shown so far, the Korea-U.S. alliance and the future of the United States will shine even brighter. I look forward to continuing close cooperation moving forward."
Former President Trump declared his victory in the presidential election on the day after the U.S. election, at his residence in Palm Beach, Florida.
Most U.S. media outlets are reporting that President Trump's victory in the election is certain.
