[Tomorrow's Weather] 'Early Winter Cold'... Morning Temperatures Around 0°C in Parts of Gyeonggi and Gangwon

On Tuesday the 5th, morning temperatures in the central region will drop by about 10 degrees compared to the previous day. In particular, some areas in the northeastern part of Gyeonggi and the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon will see morning temperatures around 0 degrees.

The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 2 and 11 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 13 and 20 degrees Celsius. The sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide, but it is expected to gradually clear from the afternoon. Frost will form on the east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and rain will fall on the east coast of Gyeongbuk and the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, mostly stopping by night. There may also be some snow flurries in the mountainous areas of Gangwon.

From dawn to morning, fog reducing visibility to less than 1 km is expected mainly in the southern inland areas, and dense fog with visibility below 200 meters may occur in the mountainous areas of Gangwon due to low cloud cover, so caution is advised for traffic safety. Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 20 mm for the east coast of Gangwon, the east coast of Gyeongbuk, and the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and less than 5 mm for the inland areas of Gangwon, northern inland Gyeongbuk, and Ulsan.
