Hansol Paper Appoints Han Kyung-rok as New CEO

Han Kyung-rok, Vice President and Head of the Printing and Thermal Paper Business Division, who is the son-in-law of Cho Dong-gil, Chairman of Hansol Group, has been appointed as the new CEO of Hansol Paper.
Hansol Group announced on the 1st that it has carried out a regular executive reshuffle, primarily appointing Vice President Han as the CEO of Hansol Paper. Ko Jung-han, CEO of Hansol PNS’s Paper Distribution Division, was appointed as the CEO of Hansol Logistics.
Hansol Group explained, “In a situation where global uncertainties are intensifying and the business environment is rapidly changing, we focused on appointing field-oriented leaders who have a high understanding of the company’s overall business and have produced clear business results in the field.”
Born in 1979, the new CEO Han is Chairman Cho’s eldest son-in-law and joined Hansol Group in 2014, gaining extensive experience in various fields such as strategy, marketing, and sales. Since 2022, he has served as the head of the Printing and Thermal Paper Business Division at Hansol Paper, leading aggressive strategies targeting major global markets including North America, significantly contributing to the improvement of export performance.
Hansol Group plans to inject new vitality throughout the organization and strengthen a field-centered, execution-driven corporate culture by placing a young CEO with clear achievements at the forefront.
New CEO Ko joined Hansol Group in 1995 through open recruitment and has been recognized for his capabilities through roles in finance and sales. In particular, he was appointed CEO of a core affiliate in recognition of his contributions to strengthening the competitiveness of the paper business value chain while serving as the executive in charge of domestic sales at Hansol Paper and as CEO of Hansol PNS’s Paper Distribution Division.
