This project involves constructing a complex community center with a total floor area of 2,553㎡ and four above-ground floors at 40-19, Singal-dong, Giheung-gu, within the Singal Intersection Urban Regeneration Project area, with a budget of 19.6 billion KRW. The city will recruit companies to register for the design competition on the 7th and will accept design proposals from the applicants on February 13 next year.

The building will serve to supplement basic living infrastructure around Singal Intersection. It will include ▲a shared complex space for residents ▲a multicultural family exchange space ▲a childcare sharing area ▲a youth space ▲and the Yongin Special City Commercial Activation Center.

The city plans to select the architectural design through a general design competition. The winning company will have the right to carry out the design service for the project. The design competition announcement can be found on Seumter, Nara Marketplace, and the Yongin Urban Corporation website.

Companies wishing to participate must apply via email, and companies that have not applied cannot submit design proposals. Design proposals must be submitted in person to the Architectural Business Team of Yongin Urban Corporation. The winning entry will be individually notified on February 27 next year.

If the winner lacks qualifications for electrical, telecommunications, or fire protection design during the design service contract process, they must implement the work jointly with a qualified designer according to relevant laws (shared subcontracting method). The design must be carried out by a registered technical office according to the standards set in each field’s laws or by an entity registered under the Engineering Technology Promotion Act.

A city official stated, "The Singal Intersection Shared Platform will be developed as a building reflecting designs and plans that prioritize residents' convenience through this design competition," adding, "It will become a landmark building representing the Singal Intersection Urban Regeneration Project."
