Dongbu Construction Welcomes Over 20 New Employees in Second Half of the Year: "Young Energy Amid Recession"

Dongbu Construction announced on the 31st that about 20 new employees joined the company through the 2024 second half open recruitment.

The job categories for this second half recruitment include civil engineering, architecture, mechanical, electrical, safety, and administration. Approximately 2,000 applicants applied over two weeks for the open recruitment held in July, resulting in a competition rate of about 100 to 1. The hired new employees will be assigned to their respective departments after undergoing training and orientation courses.

Dongbu Construction conducted two rounds of new employee recruitment this year, including the first half, and has selected about 100 new and experienced employees annually over the past five years. Despite challenging market conditions, the company explained that it aims to pursue solid management accompanied by external growth and continuously recruit and nurture talents who will become future growth engines.

A Dongbu Construction official stated, "To respond to market changes and challenges, we actively recruit young and capable talents to inject new vitality into the organization. We expect the creativity and passion of new talents to lead the company's sustainable growth, and we will do our best to support new employees so that they become an important pillar of the organization."
