Analysis of International Consistency and Review of Improvement Measures

The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants (KICPA) announced on the 31st that it will hold the "14th Sustainability Certification Forum" as a webinar (online seminar) on the 6th of next month.


The forum's theme is "Analysis of the International Consistency of Domestic Environmental Disclosure Systems and Necessary Improvements." Professors Jeong Gwanghwa from the Department of Business Administration and Accounting at Kangwon National University and Jeong Junhyuk from Seoul National University School of Law will present on the topic, analyzing the consistency between the Sustainability Standards Board (KSSB) exposure draft and the environmental information disclosure system, and seeking improvement measures for the international consistency of domestic environmental disclosure systems.

Choi Unyeol, President of KICPA, said, "We hope this forum will help domestic companies efficiently and consistently implement sustainability disclosures," adding, "We expect it to be a valuable platform for discussions to establish a transparent and reliable disclosure system that meets international standards."
