The Gwangju City Children's Meal Management Support Center in Gyeonggi Province held a two-day performance of the children's dietary safety musical, "Dorothy and the Nyamnyam Fairy," on the 29th and 30th.

This performance was linked with Gyeonggi-do children's dietary hygiene and safety education and was held three times at the Namhansanseong Art Hall Grand Theater for about 1,500 children aged 3 to 5 from 50 registered meal service centers in the district.

"Dorothy and the Nyamnyam Fairy" is a performance tailored to children's perspectives, covering themes such as ▲ proper handwashing ▲ finding healthy foods (distinguishing unhealthy foods) ▲ eating a balanced diet.

"Dorothy and the Nyamnyam Fairy" is an adaptation of the classic masterpiece "The Wizard of Oz," designed to help children naturally learn the importance of healthy eating habits.

Additionally, activity sheets related to the musical were provided to support linked learning at each institution or home, enhancing the educational effect.

A center official said, "Through this enjoyable performance with music and storytelling, children will naturally learn healthy eating habits," adding, "We will strive to provide various educational opportunities like this musical performance."
