Seosan City in South Chungcheong Province announced that it will begin recruiting executives with the expertise and capabilities to lead the Facilities Management Corporation starting from the 31st.
On the 30th, the city appointed seven members, including three recommended by the Seosan City Council, as the Executive Recommendation Committee in the mayor's office at City Hall, and approved the public recruitment plan for executives through the first committee meeting held in the situation room at City Hall.
The recruitment includes a total of five positions: one president, one full-time executive director, and three part-time directors. Among the part-time directors, at least one must be a tax or accounting expert.
The president oversees all operations of the corporation, the full-time executive director assists the president while concurrently serving as the head of headquarters, and the part-time directors participate as board members to make key decisions for the corporation.
The term of office for the president and other executives is three years, with the possibility of annual reappointment based on management performance.
Applications will be accepted from the 31st until November 14th. Applicants may submit their forms in person to the Seosan City Planning and Budget Office, by registered mail (1 Gwanamun-gil, Planning and Budget Office, Seosan City), or by email.

Once executives are appointed through this recruitment, the city plans to sequentially proceed with related procedures such as holding the inaugural board meeting, hiring staff, and registering the establishment, aiming to launch the corporation in July 2025.
Meanwhile, the eight projects to be entrusted to the Facilities Management Corporation include public sewage treatment facilities, public wastewater treatment facilities, biogas facilities, public parking lots, Daesan Bus Terminal, recycling sorting facilities, sales of standard volume-based waste bags, and hydrogen charging stations.
