On the 28th, President Yoon Suk-yeol held a regular meeting with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and urged, "We will make every effort to manage the recently escalating geopolitical risks and external economic uncertainties in regions such as Ukraine and the Middle East," according to a written briefing by Presidential Spokesperson Jung Hye-jun.
Also present at the meeting was Shin Won-sik, Director of the National Security Office of the Presidential Office, who had just returned from attending the Korea-US-Japan Security Chiefs Meeting held recently in Washington DC, USA.
