Goyang City Startup Audition '2024 Second Half Goyang IR Day' Held

On the 29th, a communication forum between startup companies and investors was held at Ilsandong-gu Office
Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 25th that it will hold the startup audition "2024 Second Half Goyang IR Day" at the Ilsandong-gu Office Grand Conference Room on the 29th.
This event is designed as a meeting place for excellent startup companies, investors, and startup support organizations, providing various opportunities such as investment attraction linkage, business partnership building, and networking expansion.
The city began recruiting participants for Goyang IR Day on August 26, and a total of 34 companies applied. After the first document screening and the second presentation evaluation, 10 companies were finally selected.
The selected startups received specialized investment attraction training and in-depth mentoring, and on the 29th, they are expected to deliver passionate pitches about their innovative startup products and services at IR Day.
The presentation evaluation on the day will be conducted by about 10 venture investors and startup planners, including representatives from Samsung Securities, Hana Securities, and Goyang Venture Fund management companies.
A city official stated, "We expect this event to provide practical opportunities for growth to excellent startups in various fields through investment screenings such as the Goyang Venture Fund and Goyang Youth Startup Fund, and to be a valuable time for communication between companies and investors, offering meaningful feedback."
