At the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee's audit held that afternoon, Minister Park responded to Kim Do-eup, a member of the People Power Party, who pointed out that Booyoung Group had unfairly charged more than 4 million won for repair costs of rental housing defects, saying, "This issue occurs not only with Booyoung but also when tenants move out, and local government dispute mediation committees are taking mediation measures."

He added, "Large loan companies like Booyoung, which heavily use the National Housing Fund, are given loan approval limits for new projects to prevent them from becoming overly dependent on the fund, and they are separately managed through rental rate inspections."

Regarding disputes related to the sale conversion price of rental housing, he explained, "To prevent such issues, the Enforcement Rules of the Rental Housing Act were revised and implemented in July 2014, over 10 years ago, "adding, "specifically, construction costs are based on the construction costs at the time of the initial tenant recruitment announcement, with the standard construction cost set as the upper limit, and the rules are very detailed."

He continued, "I understand that these are matters that occurred before the revision," and said, "We will monitor the progress of lawsuits and review whether there are any additional improvements needed for the system."
