[Smart Finance Awards] MTS Helping Beginner Stock Investors Get Started

Korea Investment & Securities ranked first in the technology category in the evaluation of Mobile Trading Systems (MTS) at the '2024 Asia Smart Finance Awards.'

Launched in 2018, the mobile application 'Korea Investment' is a comprehensive asset management app that allows users to quickly and easily trade a wide range of financial products, from non-face-to-face account opening to domestic and overseas stocks, futures and options, gold bullion, as well as investments in personal pensions, ISA (Individual Savings Account), funds, and bonds.

The 'Korea Investment' app features a Quick View function that displays key information such as total assets, major indices, and watchlist stocks at a glance by shaking the smartphone, and users can arrange the main content as they wish. Additionally, the app reorganized its 3,630 scattered screens into three groups?Trading, Asset Banking, and Financial Products?making the menu easier to use.

The home screen was also completely revamped. A separate home screen was created to enhance accessibility to overseas stocks. Depending on the MTS access time, the domestic home screen is prioritized from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., after which it switches to the overseas home screen.

The home screen prominently features menus that are highly popular among investors, such as public offering subscriptions and newly listed stocks, and provides overseas investment-related content including upcoming ex-dividend dates for U.S. stocks, rankings of hot U.S. stocks and ETFs, and portfolios of investment masters. This is designed to assist novice investors in managing their assets. Major market conditions are also provided with mini graphs to improve readability.

The 'Korea Investment' app also offers information by scanning barcodes of domestically distributed products, allowing users to search for the listed companies distributing those products and related categories, thereby helping users find investment information in their daily lives.
