원본보기 아이콘On the 23rd, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the 17th Architectural Committee approved the architectural review for the 'Gangnam-gu Yeoksam-dong 602 Complex Development Project (Twinpix)'.
The Gangnam-gu Yeoksam-dong 602 Complex Development Project (Twinpix) will consist of 8 basement floors and 36 above-ground floors, including officetels (132 units), a hotel (65 rooms), office facilities, and neighborhood living facilities.
The project site was originally the Nam Seoul Hotel, which opened in 1980, remodeled and operated as The Ritz-Carlton Hotel from 1995, and rebranded as Le Meridien Hotel in 2017. Due to incidents at the club 'Burning Sun' located in Le Meridien Hotel and the spread of COVID-19, the hotel ceased operations in February 2021.

The building is inspired by Korean mountains. A new green space connecting the horizontal green axis of the city to a vertical green axis will also be created.
Han Byung-yong, Director of the Seoul Housing Office, said, “Seoul will create an environment that can generate new urban landscapes through architectural plans that introduce innovative designs at the Architectural Committee.”
