Officials at the Seocho District Office in Seoul have been investigated by the police for sexual misconduct. The officials were suspended from their positions once the investigation began.

The Seocho Police Station announced on the 21st that three officials from the Seocho District Office have been booked and are under investigation on charges of special forcible sexual assault and aiding and abetting.

According to the police, three officials, including Mr. A from the Seocho District Office, were accused by a victim last month of committing sexual misconduct.

When the police notified the Seocho District Office of the investigation commencement on the 14th, the office suspended the officials the following day.

A representative from the Seocho District Office stated, "On the 15th, we suspended the three officials involved in the issue."
