Shares of Doosan Robotics are rising following news that Doosan Group is resuming efforts to restructure its business governance.
At 10:21 a.m. on the 21st, Doosan Robotics was trading at 74,100 KRW, up 13.96% from the previous trading day.
On the same day, Doosan Group is reportedly scheduled to hold board meetings for Doosan Enerbility and Doosan Robotics, where they will discuss a proposal to incorporate Doosan Bobcat as a subsidiary of Doosan Robotics.
Previously, Doosan Group attempted to separate Doosan Enerbility from Doosan Bobcat and merge it with Doosan Robotics through a comprehensive stock swap, but withdrew the plan at the end of August amid growing controversy.
At this board meeting, it is expected that they will discuss a plan to spin off Doosan Enerbility into a newly established corporation holding Doosan Bobcat shares, and then merge this entity with Doosan Robotics.
