Com2uS announced on the 21st that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) and will serve as the official sponsor of the Korea-Cuba baseball exhibition series, the "2024 K-Baseball Series with TVING."
The exhibition games will be held on the 1st and 2nd of next month at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. This event commemorates the diplomatic ties established with Cuba earlier this year and provides an opportunity to assess the strengths of both teams. The South Korean national team, led by manager Ryu Joong-il, recently announced the roster, including players such as Kim Do-young from the KIA Tigers, Won Tae-in from the Samsung Lions, Hong Chang-gi from the LG Twins, and Go Young-pyo from the KT Wiz.
Com2uS decided to sponsor the event to support the players and contribute to the cultural exchange of sports between Korea and Cuba.
To celebrate the exhibition games, events will be held on the "Com2uS Pro Baseball" series and social media (SNS) channels. Participation is open until the 23rd through the official communities of "Com2uS Pro Baseball 2024" and "Com2uS Pro Baseball V24." Users who share stories about why they want to attend the national team exhibition games will be selected to receive tickets for the first and second matches. Additionally, by following the official Com2uS Pro Baseball Instagram and commenting on the event post, participants will have a chance to win a national team uniform through a draw.
Meanwhile, Com2uS has signed official sponsorship agreements for the "2024 KBO All-Star Game" and the "2024 KBO Postseason" this year. The company also contributes to the spread of baseball culture by inviting children and families sponsored by the Korea Professional Baseball Players Association and the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to watch games, and by providing sponsorship funds to two newly established high school baseball teams in Korea.
