Through live commerce and home shopping, part of the 2024 'Small and Medium Enterprise Marketing Support Project' conducted by Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Province Corporation, products from small and medium enterprises in Gyeonggi Province will reach consumers.

Gyeonggi Province Corporation announced that at 8 p.m. on the 21st, beauty products from 11 small and medium enterprises in the province will be sold through the Chinese live commerce platform 'Douyin' (the local name for TikTok in China, Hong Kong, and Macau).

This live commerce sale on the Chinese platform is one of the direct export support measures under the Small and Medium Enterprise Marketing Support Project. Since Korean beauty products are very popular among Chinese consumers, good results are expected.

Additionally, as part of the same support project, from 4 p.m. on the 23rd, Goyang Kim, a tripe seaweed product from the local small and medium enterprise 'Yangmyeong,' will be introduced to consumers on Gongyoung Home Shopping. The sales target is 2,500 units, with a sales goal of 100 million KRW, aiming to showcase affordable yet excellent products from local small and medium enterprises to consumers.

Lee Jae-jun, CEO of Gyeonggi Province Corporation, said, "As part of this year's marketing support project for local small and medium enterprises, we have prepared sales through Chinese live commerce and home shopping broadcasts. We will continue to do our best to develop various sales channels for local small and medium enterprises."
