Science Challenging Science

It explains what Science and Technology Studies (STS) is and what it means. STS is a discipline that explores whether the science around us is truly truth and law. For example, considering the severe climate crisis humanity faces today, it is difficult to say that the science and technology developed by humanity so far is the absolute truth. STS examines the ways and processes science and technology affect our lives, various contexts, and what we should do now for a better future from the perspective of STS. Group Psychology

This is one of the representative works of 19th-century French sociologist Gustave Le Bon (1841?1931). Published in 1895, it became a major sensation at the time, being translated into more than 20 languages within a year. It is regarded as a masterpiece that laid the foundation for social psychology and crowd psychology. It was also a must-read for later politicians and investors who wanted to understand the minds of the masses. Le Bon analyzed crowds as entities easily swept away by agitation and deceived by images and illusions, and he was criticized for his work being exploited by dictators such as Hitler.
