The Wish Lantern event will be held from the 15th for the first 300 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and the lanterns will be hung along the Chrysanthemum Light Wish Path at the 24th Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival site. The wish message will be “Please let me succeed in the CSAT!” and after submission, the messages will be displayed in alphabetical order.

The Chrysanthemum Light Wish Path connects Exhibition Hall 1 and Exhibition Hall 2 at the Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival site, and is a path created with wish lanterns from the general public and chrysanthemum flower beds.

The ‘Wish Lantern Hanging’ carries a message of encouragement to fulfill the hopes and wishes of the citizens together. In particular, the wishes of the 700,000 tourists who visit the Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival annually will add strength to the students’ hopes for great success in the CSAT.

Park Dong-jin, Director of the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, said, “With the CSAT just around the corner, we created this event to cheer on many students and their families. I hope everyone who has endured a time of hardship achieves what they desire.”

Meanwhile, the 24th Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival will be held from the 26th to November 3rd at the 3·15 Marine Nuri Park and Happo Waterfront Park area. The festival site will be covered with 165,000 chrysanthemums, 60,000 more than last year.
