Through this agreement, the three companies plan to collaborate on the development of the 750MW-scale Firefly floating offshore wind power complex project being promoted by Equinor in the Ulsan region. Once the project is confirmed, Siemens Gamesa's 15MW-class large wind turbines will be introduced, and the key equipment, nacelles, will be assembled and supplied at Doosan Enerbility's Changwon wind power factory.
Son Seung-woo, Head of Power Service BG, said, "This agreement will strengthen the partnership among the three companies, and through continuous cooperation, it will contribute to revitalizing the domestic offshore wind power ecosystem in the future."
