On the 15th, Korea Water Resources Corporation Ulsan Branch (Branch Manager Hwang Seon-min) donated 82.3 million won in school development funds to the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education.
The fund transfer ceremony held in the reception room of the Metropolitan Office of Education was attended by Cheon Chang-su, Superintendent of Education, Hwang Seon-min, Branch Manager of Korea Water Resources Corporation Ulsan Branch, and other officials.
The school development funds delivered this time will be used to improve student welfare and educational environments at six schools around Daegok Dam and Sayon Dam (Dudong Elementary School, Duseo Elementary School, Bangok Elementary School, Bancheon Elementary School, Dugwang Middle School, and Ulsan Happiness School).
Since 2018, Korea Water Resources Corporation Ulsan Branch has contributed 600 million won in school development funds as part of support projects for dam surrounding areas, steadily contributing to the development of local community education.
Branch Manager Hwang Seon-min said, “We are promoting various support projects such as providing educational equipment and experiential learning opportunities to improve the educational conditions of students in dam surrounding areas,” adding, “We will continue to expand educational opportunities for students through diverse educational support projects.”
Superintendent Cheon Chang-su expressed his gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank you for your interest in schools in the Ulsan area and for donating school development funds, and we will ensure that the funds are used effectively for school development.”
Korea Water Resources Corporation Ulsan Branch is delivering 82.3 million KRW in school development funds to the Ulsan Office of Education.
