On the 15th, Sajin Disabled Daycare Center, a commissioned institution of Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik), announced that it achieved excellent results for two consecutive years in the 'Excellent Case Program Contest for Workers at Disabled Daycare Facilities.'
On the 10th, related workers from the Busan area, including Sajin Disabled Daycare Center, attended the '2024 Disabled Daycare Facility Workers Seminar' hosted by Busan City and jointly organized by the Busan Disabled Welfare Center and the Busan Disabled Daycare Facility Association.
Every year, the seminar holds an 'Excellent Case Program Contest' to share high-quality support programs for people with disabilities and to award outstanding programs.
At this event, Sajin Disabled Daycare Center's 'Home Alone' program was selected as the grand prize winner in the 'Excellent Case Program Contest.'
The program was recognized for its excellence by demonstrating changes and improvements in independence skills of adults with developmental disabilities through activities such as organizing and storage, cooking classes, and a 2-day, 1-night independence training.
Sajin Disabled Daycare Center won the grand prize in 2023 with the 'Money! What?' program and received the grand prize again this year, achieving awards for two consecutive years.
Seok Chang-hwa, director of Sajin Disabled Daycare Center, said, "We will continue to operate various programs for adults with developmental disabilities and their families to expand independence and social participation."
