The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 15th that it is recruiting tenant companies for the 'Jakarta Global Business Center (GBC)' scheduled to open in Indonesia within this year.
Jakarta GBC is located in the southern downtown area of Jakarta, a region densely populated with numerous financial institutions and multinational corporations. It is expected to establish itself as a hub to support the successful entry of small and medium enterprises into the local Indonesian market.
Leveraging its locational advantages, the Small and Medium Business Corporation plans to actively utilize local networks to provide various business opportunities to tenant companies and diversify support programs in collaboration with the Indonesian local government and overseas diplomatic missions.
Jakarta GBC will offer various services to approximately 30 tenant companies, including ▲office space for initial local settlement ▲specialized programs such as certification acquisition and consultation support ▲consulting in legal, accounting, and labor fields.
Kang Seok-jin, Director of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, stated, “Jakarta GBC, scheduled to open this year, will serve as a stepping stone for supporting the globalization of small and medium enterprises including those in Indonesia. We will create a broader platform of opportunities by utilizing enhanced overseas expansion support programs and local networks.”
