This event is planned to reduce the caregiving burden on families with disabilities and encourage social participation, targeting people with disabilities and their families participating in the "Disability Opportunity Income" or "360° Anywhere Care" support projects.
The main programs include "Ssudam Walking," where participants walk along the 3km trail of Gaetgol Ecological Park while picking up trash, and "Find Bonggong," which uses stamp collecting.
In addition, various side events such as a photo zone, sales of products made by people with disabilities, smart watch check-ups for disability opportunity income participants, magic shows, and keyring making experiences, as well as sign language performances, will be provided.
Gyeonggi Province will accept applications from those wishing to participate in this event starting from the 16th of this month through the Gyeonggi-do Disability Welfare Comprehensive Support Center website (ggnurim.or.kr).
Participants in the Disability Opportunity Income program can apply via the Opportunity Income app, and those in the Anywhere Care program can apply through the implementing agencies.
Kim Hana, Director of the Welfare Bureau of Gyeonggi Province, requested, "Since this event was carefully prepared to meet the policy needs of residents, such as creating an environment for social value activities for participants in the Disability Opportunity Income program and weekend healing programs for families with disabilities, we ask for your great interest."
