Pocheon City Launches 'ChatGPT-Based Digital Skills Enhancement Training' to Improve Work Methods

Pocheon City held a "Digital Competency Enhancement Training Using ChatGPT" for Pocheon City public officials on the 11th at the Pocheon City Hall main conference room.

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 14th that it conducted a 'Digital Competency Enhancement Training Using ChatGPT' for Pocheon city officials on the 11th at the Pocheon City Hall main conference room.

The training was conducted for about 70 employees under the theme "Work Innovation with ChatGPT: Understanding and Utilizing Generative AI," with Kim Tae-yeon, director of the Future Research Institute, invited as a lecturer. Participants practiced various ways to use ChatGPT and helped city officials understand the era of generative artificial intelligence (AI).

The employees were able to improve their ability to utilize AI tools by reviewing cases applying ChatGPT in various work situations and practicing hands-on.

A Pocheon city official said, "Through this digital competency enhancement training, we hope that public officials will perform their duties more efficiently, improve the quality of public services, and realize innovative administration utilizing new technologies."

Meanwhile, Pocheon City will conduct small-scale practical training sessions three times from the 16th to the 23rd at the Agricultural Technology Center Informatization Training Center. The sessions will focus on practical ways to utilize ChatGPT in administrative work.
