Gwangyang City in Jeollanam-do announced on the 13th that Ambassador Jo Seung-hwan, along with Kim Dong-joo, Chairman of the Korea Constitutional Association Steering Committee, Jang Ok-gwon, Chairman of the China Belt and Road Public Association, Jo Gi-soon, International Chairman of the Korea Ssireum Association, and Park Jong-man, Head of the Barefoot Walking Movement Headquarters Gwangyang Branch, visited Madong Ecological Lake Park to promote the Barefoot Loess Path.
The 'Barefoot Loess Path' at Madong Ecological Lake Park is an urban recharge space created by Gwangyang City with a project budget of 350 million KRW to spread the culture of barefoot walking.
On the 13th, Ambassador Jo Seung-hwan visited Madong Ecological Lake Park with Kim Dong-ju, Chairman of the Korea Constitutional Association Operations Committee; Jang Ok-gwon, President of the China Belt and Road Public Association; Jo Gi-sun, International Chairman of the Korea Ssireum Association; and Park Jong-man, Head of the Barefoot Walking Movement Headquarters Gwangyang Branch, to promote the barefoot clay trail.

Named after Jo Seung-hwan, the world record holder for standing barefoot on ice for the longest time and an international environmental activist, the 'Barefoot Man Jo Seung-hwan Loess Path' has been continuously visited by citizens since its opening ceremony on September 2nd and has established itself as a new landmark of Gwangyang City.
On that day, Chairman Kim Dong-joo, who visited the Barefoot Loess Path, said, "The Barefoot Man Jo Seung-hwan Loess Path exudes a healthy energy just by walking on it. I think it is well constructed."
Chairman Jang Ok-gwon expressed, "I hope a loess path named after Jo Seung-hwan will be created in China as well."
International Chairman Jo Gi-soon said, "The loess path at Madong Ecological Lake Park, named after Jo Seung-hwan, who shows amazing performances based on superhuman patience, is a space that gives a healthy resonance. I am glad to walk on the loess path."
