The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will host a 'Busan Education History Museum Fam Tour' for about 40 members of the Parent Education Press Corps at 1 p.m. on the 15th.
This fam tour aims to promote interaction among the press corps members and to help them develop writing skills necessary for building consensus on Busan's education policies.
The Office of Education will conduct the fam tour at the 'Busan Education History Museum,' which opened this March. The press corps will tour the permanent exhibition hall with a guide, participate in the Dokdo Experience Hall's exhibition program, and take time to reflect on the history of Busan's education and the purpose behind the museum's opening.
After the experience, there will be a training session on 'Blog-tailored Writing' to help promote Busan education news more clearly and vividly.
Busan Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo said, "I hope this fam tour will provide an opportunity for the education community to access news about Busan education more closely and intimately," adding, "The Office of Education will fully support the activities of the Parent Education Press Corps to widely promote Busan education."
The 'Parent Education Press Corps,' which has been operating since last year, is a campaign pledge by Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo to promote Busan education from a parent's perspective, foster empathy with the education community and citizens, and enhance communication.
This year's 68 press corps members, appointed in April, are actively promoting Busan education in various fields, including covering school events and educational sites, introducing events and curricula of institutions affiliated with the Office of Education, and appearing in promotional content for Busan education.
