Pamisel Participates in the Korean Society for Molecular and Cellular Biology International Conference

Pharmicell announced on the 14th that it participated in the '2024 Korean Society for Molecular and Cellular Biology Annual Conference (ICKSMCB)' held at the Jeju International Convention Center from the 8th to the 11th.

Now in its 36th year, ICKSMCB is the largest academic conference in the field of life sciences in Korea, with over 2,700 domestic and international researchers attending. Symposia covering 24 topics across all areas of life sciences were held. More than 150 experts from Korea and abroad presented the latest research findings at the conference.

Pharmicell presented two research achievements: ▲ the efficiency and stability effects of the cell culture medium (Half-Serum DMEM) ▲ and studies on the mechanism of action and differences in responsiveness using biomarkers for the stem cell therapeutic agent (Haticelgram-AMi).

Through research on the efficiency and stability of the high-efficiency cell culture medium Half-Serum DMEM, it was confirmed that when using Half-Serum DMEM, proliferation rate, cell cycle, transient transfection, and lentivirus infection efficiency showed stable numerical values. It was demonstrated that individuals who respond well to stem cell therapy have significantly higher self-renewal capacity and mobility in their cells. Based on this, a foundation was established for developing stem cell therapies tailored to individual characteristics.

A Pharmicell official stated, "With research results that produced meaningful outcomes, we were able to showcase Pharmicell's expertise to domestic and international experts," adding, "We will continue to create a foundation for collaboration with life science researchers."
