Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, "Will Do Our Best for the Advancement of Education for People with Disabilities"

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited Hanguk Woojin School on the morning of the 10th, where the autumn festival and the opening ceremony of the ‘Digital Active Center’ were held.

Hanguk Woojin School is a national special school established in January 2000 in Jung-dong, Mapo District, for the education of students with physical disabilities.

On this day, Mayor Park Gang-su visited the festival site to encourage the students. Afterwards, he attended the opening ceremony of the ‘Digital Active Center,’ created with support from Mapo District’s educational expense subsidies, exchanged words of thanks with student representatives, and observed educational activities.

Mayor Park Gang-su said, “The ‘Digital Active Center,’ utilizing advanced technology, will be a stage to infinitely unfold your potential,” and added, “Mapo District will do its best not only to support the development of special education for people with disabilities but also to implement practical policies.”
