This is Mizuno Golf's new weapon that you can encounter first in Korea.
Mizuno Golf has introduced this new product in Korea to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the JPX series this year. It offers enhanced performance with outstanding hitting feel, excellent speed, and forgiveness. It is based on the swing DNA of 350,000 people extracted through Mizuno's fitting system, the ‘Shaft Optimizer 3D’. It responds to the increasingly diverse needs of golfers.
There are three lineups. The JPX925 Forged Iron, which achieves the highest rebound performance ever in forged irons, the JPX925 Hot Metal Iron with excellent distance and forgiveness featuring high initial velocity and high trajectory, and the JPX925 Hot Metal Pro Iron, making its debut in Korea.
The core technology of the JPX925 irons is the ‘Contour Ellipse Face’. It contains Mizuno’s condensed innovative technology that further amplifies the repulsion force. The thickness of the face varies like contour lines. This minimizes distance loss even on off-center shots. For the JPX925 Forged Iron, the thinnest face thickness is 1.5mm, up to 30% thinner compared to the previous model. It maintains maximized ball speed and impact velocity.
Additionally, it features the ‘Grain Flow Forged HD’ forging method, ‘Harmonic Impact Technology (H.I.T)’ that realizes ideal sound and hitting feel, and new face materials tailored to each lineup’s characteristics. There are also JPX925 Forged LH irons for left-handed golfers and the JPX925 Forged Lady line for women’s forged irons.
The JPX925 Hot Metal line commonly uses nickel-chromoly (CrMo4335+) material, which is also used in aircraft landing gear. This allows for a thinner yet high-strength face. The concept is ‘an iron that flies no matter where you hit the face’. It leads to higher trajectory and precision. The JPX925 Hot Metal Iron is for golfers who require distance and forgiveness, while the JPX925 Hot Metal Pro Iron is for players who prefer irons with distance, workability, and a small, straight neck.
