Opening of Guro-gu Senior Citizens' Cultural University

Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) held the opening ceremony of the 12th Ilso-ilso (一笑一少) Senior Cultural University on the 24th at the Guro-gu Office auditorium.

About 150 seniors aged 65 and over attended the opening ceremony, where singer Mok Jin-seol performed as a pre-event to mark the beginning of the ceremony.

The first lecture was given by broadcaster and writer, representative Oh Haeng-ja of Todak Todak Haengja TV, on the theme "A Gift from God, Laughter as a Tool to Open the Heart," receiving great response from the audience.

Moon Heon-il, Mayor of Guro-gu, said, "The Senior Cultural University is celebrating its 12th term with the slogan 'Ilso-ilso! One laugh makes you one step younger.' I hope it will be a meaningful time through various lectures with excellent instructors."

The Ilso-ilso Senior Cultural University will be held a total of six times, including ▲humanities and liberal arts ▲elderly psychology ▲laughter therapy ▲field trips, at the district office and Oryu Culture Center until the end of October.
