6-Vehicle Pileup Near Cheongju IC on Gyeongbu Expressway... 18 Suffer Minor Injuries

At around 9:14 a.m. on the 17th, a chain collision involving six vehicles, including passenger cars, occurred near the Cheongju Interchange (IC) on the northbound lanes of the Gyeongbu Expressway in Seokso-dong, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju, Chungbuk.

As a result of the accident, 2 people sustained serious injuries and 16 people sustained minor injuries, and they are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on witness statements and other evidence.
