Hoban Construction Selected for 3 Categories Including Landscaping and Playground at the 2024 Good Design Awards

Hoban Construction announced on the 12th that it has won three Excellent Design Marks at the '2024 Good Design Award.'

The Good Design Award is a representative domestic design award hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. Since 1985, it has conducted comprehensive evaluations every year and awarded the government certification symbol GD (Good Design) mark to outstanding design products.

Hoban Construction's award-winning designs include △ the landscaping "Gaori's Flight" of Hoban Summit Lacent (Osan Segyo 2 A1 Block) △ the children's playground "Forest with Play" of Hoban Summit The Triads (Pyeongtaek Godeok A49 Block) △ and Hoban Summit's specialized elevator product "Timeless Summit."

The landscaping "Gaori's Flight" of Hoban Summit Lacent is designed in the shape of a stingray, which symbolizes unexpected luck, creating a signature space within the complex. It introduced the large-scale water structure material for the first time in Korea and applied modular construction methods to reduce on-site hazards and shorten the construction period.

The children's playground "Forest with Play" of Hoban Summit The Triads is inspired by a small forest within the complex, recreating a village in the trees. Play facilities and bridge-shaped structures connect the spaces between the Ipop trees, and on the ground, a water play area featuring waterfalls and ground fountains creates various water landscapes.

Hoban Summit's specialized elevator product "Timeless Summit" features Hoban's signature 'H' pattern and bamboo shapes, using silver color to maximize the sense of openness in the elevator.
