Korea Eximbank Donates 187 Million KRW to 17 Social Welfare Facilities 원본보기 아이콘

The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on the 10th that it donated 187 million won to 17 social welfare facilities nationwide and that its executives and employees participated in volunteer activities ahead of Chuseok.


On the same day, executives and employees at the bank's headquarters visited a free meal service for the homeless near Seoul Station and the Hyeshimwon child welfare facility, delivering groceries and engaging in meal distribution and childcare volunteer work.


Employees from 13 branches nationwide, including Busan, Daejeon, and Gwangju, also visited social welfare facilities in their respective regions where donations were made, delivering holiday food and necessary items to children, people with disabilities, and elderly living alone in celebration of the holiday.


A bank official stated, "We conducted this volunteer activity to deliver warm care to marginalized neighbors around us during Chuseok, the nation's biggest traditional holiday," adding, "We will continue to carry out ongoing social contribution activities for vulnerable groups in our society."
