Gumi City Successfully Concludes "Joyful Summer, Shared Cultural Exploration" Event

Gumi City, North Gyeongsang Province (Mayor Kim Jangho), together with the Gumi City Regional Child Center Association, announced that the "Joyful Summer, Shared Cultural Exploration" event, held on August 31 and attended by around 800 children using local child centers and their guides, was successfully completed without any safety incidents.

This cultural exploration provided a customized program reflecting the children's preferences, allowing them to choose between an amusement park and a water park. The event was part of a designated donation project by Gumi City and Hyundai Motor Group, with support provided through the Community Chest of Korea and ChildFund Korea.

Through this activity, the children had an enjoyable and lively time, gaining valuable experiences to end the summer in a healthy way.

The Gumi City Regional Child Center is a leading child care institution in the local community, currently operating 46 centers and serving approximately 1,400 children.

Kim Sangbae, President of the Gumi City Regional Child Center Association, expressed his commitment to further strengthening collaborative activities with related organizations and corporate social contribution teams so that children can have diverse experiences and enjoy a bright, healthy, and happy growth period through cultural experiences. He also extended his deep gratitude to the staff and volunteer teachers at each center for thoroughly ensuring the safety of the children in this large-scale event.
