Shin Young-su, CEO of CJ Logistics, recently announced the 7-day delivery service as a new opportunity and vowed to ensure its success.

On the 27th, Shin held the '2024 Town Hall Meeting' at CJ Logistics headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul, expressing this commitment. He stated, "The 'Everyday One' service, based on 7-day delivery and 5-day workweek, will provide new growth opportunities not only for consumers but also for e-commerce sellers and workers," adding, "We will prepare thoroughly to provide a stable service starting next year."

About 4,000 employees participated in the town hall meeting, which was held both online and offline. At the event, Shin shared the management performance for the first half of the year, outlook for the second half, and CJ Logistics' future vision.

He said, "CJ Logistics must evolve into a comprehensive logistics company capable of delivering anytime, anywhere, and anything," and urged, "Let all employees unite to enter the global top 10 by 2030, the 100th anniversary of our founding."

He continued, "Our goal is to build an 'end-to-end' service with world-class technology that takes responsibility from the start to the end of transportation regardless of size, weight, or type, completing the best supply chain," emphasizing, "At the 100th anniversary in 2030, I want to be recognized by juniors as a 'senior who contributed to the growth into a global company.'"

The event featured various questions and answers regarding future growth strategies by business, corporate image enhancement, TES technology innovation, and organizational culture improvement. CJ Logistics plans to incorporate many proposals and improvement tasks raised at the town hall meeting into its management.

Earlier, on the 20th, CJ Logistics announced that starting next year, it will provide consumers with 7-day delivery service and introduce a delivery system called 'Everyday One' (tentative name), where delivery workers will work 5 days a week without income reduction. The specific details of the new delivery system are expected to be outlined by October after consultations with stakeholders.
