Energy Corporation and Korea Post Headquarters Sign 'Energy Voucher Welfare Registration' Agreement

The Korea Energy Agency signed a business agreement with the Korea Post on the 28th to promote the visiting energy welfare service called 'Energy Voucher Welfare Registration.'

This agreement was established to provide energy voucher welfare registration to welfare blind spots who are either unaware of the energy voucher program or unable to apply for or use it due to mobility difficulties.

Energy voucher welfare registration is a service where post office delivery workers visit target households to guide them on how to apply for and use energy vouchers, as well as to survey the heating and cooling environment of the residence and the level of awareness of the system.

Lee Sang-hoon, Director of the Korea Energy Agency, said, "We expect welfare registration to play a pivotal role in expanding the use of energy vouchers," adding, "We will continue to expand support services that link the characteristics of each institution's work, like the energy voucher welfare registration, and strive to realize social responsibility together through the participation of more companies and institutions."
