DN Solutions, the world's third-largest and South Korea's number one machine tool company, announced on the 27th the completion and opening of the new welfare center 'DN Maru' within the Namsan Factory at its headquarters in Changwon, Gyeongnam.
The new welfare center is the first newly constructed building in 16 years since the completion of the Technology Research Institute (R&D Center) in 2008, symbolizing a new beginning for DN Solutions. The company has been actively investing in improving employee treatment, including completing insulation work on Buildings A and B of the Namsan Factory and raising the starting salary for new employees to the highest level in the industry.

원본보기 아이콘DN Maru began preparations for construction in July 2022 and broke ground in November last year, completing the building safely within nine months. The three-story DN Maru includes convenience facilities such as a restaurant, cafe, and rest areas, as well as meeting rooms, a promotional hall, and a rooftop garden. The first floor houses the security office, customer waiting room, cafe, meeting lounge, meeting rooms, and promotional hall. The cafe and meeting lounge have approximately 130 seats and are freely accessible to customers and employees. The 52-seat employee lounge is equipped with various amenities to allow staff to recharge according to their work conditions.

The promotional hall, previously located in the R&D Center, has also been relocated. This space, which contains the history and vision of DN Solutions, will more effectively introduce the company and its products and services to customers from around the world. On the second floor of the welfare center, a cafeteria with about 560 seats has been established and began operation on the same day. The space is larger and features an efficient layout compared to before, and a VIP zone has been created for overseas customers visiting the factory.
CEO Kim Won-jong stated, "DN Maru is the first newly constructed building symbolizing a new start for DN Solutions and will become a landmark representing our company alongside the Technology Research Institute building. We will continue to steadily invest in employee welfare and better facilities alongside the company's growth."
