Goryeong County Holds 'Networking Day' for Young Entrepreneurs

A Promise of Communication and Empathy in Administration to Open the Present and Future for Youth

Goryeong-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, and the New Vitality Plus Project Promotion Team (headed by Seo Cheolhyeon) held a Networking Day on the 23rd, where young entrepreneurs shared the challenges they face in the startup process, established a foundation for youth entrepreneurship, and generated policy proposal ideas.

The event, attended by about 20 young entrepreneurs and Goryeong-gun Mayor Lee Namcheol, was held at a local cafe. Participants discussed the first phase Living Lab policy tasks to strengthen the network among young entrepreneurs and explored support measures.

In addition to youth entrepreneurship, there was also a time for communication and empathy, where participants deeply discussed various youth policies related to life in Goryeong, such as jobs, housing, culture, and welfare, as experienced by young people.

One young participant at the Networking Day said, "I am grateful for this meaningful opportunity to share the difficulties of young entrepreneurs and discuss support measures," adding, "I hope to help make Goryeong a place where the dreams of the young generation can become reality and shape the future."

Mayor Lee Namcheol emphasized that youth are the hope for the future and promised, "We will implement policies that allow young people to realize their dreams. We will actively reflect the various opinions generated at this Networking Day in the county's policies."
