According to the city on the 25th, the education took place in the large auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Agricultural Technology Center's Farmer Education Hall. The content was tailored for weekend family farm participants to easily understand and cultivate, even beginners.

After the education, participants moved to their selected farms, sowed the free radish seeds, and transplanted napa cabbage seedlings, beginning full-scale kimchi vegetable cultivation.

The Agricultural Technology Center guided preliminary tasks such as fertilization, soil insecticide application, and field leveling before this education to help farm members cultivate crops smoothly according to the season.

One family farm participant said, "I am grateful for the customized kimchi vegetable cultivation education designed for beginner farmers like me who are unfamiliar with agriculture," adding, "I look forward to the joy of harvesting agricultural products and the pleasure of making kimchi with ingredients I grew myself."

The Iksan Agricultural Technology Center has been operating the weekend family farm program for 17 years since its start in 2008. It is loved as a natural experience learning site for citizens and a leisure space for families.

A city official stated, "We hope the weekend family farm becomes an opportunity for people to feel the reward and happiness of growing healthy kimchi vegetables with their own hands," and added, "We will do our best to operate the weekend family farm so that it becomes a healthy hobby activity enjoyed with family."
