The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 22nd that all affiliated institutions and schools under its jurisdiction simultaneously conducted civil defense evacuation drills linked to the '2024 Eulji Exercise.'
This drill involved 834 frontline schools in Jeonnam, 12 directly affiliated institutions, 22 education support offices, and the headquarters, who evacuated as if in a real air raid situation for 20 minutes starting at 2 p.m.

원본보기 아이콘On the day, Superintendent Kim Dae-jung visited the Eulji Exercise situation room at the Gokseong Education Support Office to inspect the '2024 Eulji Exercise training status' and encouraged the participating staff.
He then visited Jeonnam Culinary Science High School to learn emergency action procedures with students and faculty, and participated in the drill to quickly evacuate to a safe place following the air raid alarm.
Superintendent Kim said, "I hope this drill serves as an opportunity for students to develop emergency response skills and raise safety awareness," adding, "We will continue to prioritize the safety of students and faculty by implementing various safety policies."
