HUG Appoints Choi Jong-won as New Standing Director

The Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) announced on the 22nd that it held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and appointed Choi Jong-won, Head of the Management Infrastructure Innovation Division, as the new standing director.

Standing Director Choi Jong-won graduated from Gangneung High School and Dankook University with a degree in Public Administration. He has served as Head of the Management Infrastructure Innovation Division, Head of the Fund Business Operations Division, Director of Human Resources, Director of Financial Planning, and Director of Public Relations at HUG.

Director Choi said, "I feel a heavy responsibility as I assume the role of standing director at a time when the corporation's role and importance are expanding," adding, "I will do my best to support government policies and stabilize housing for the common people."
