On the 22nd, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that it held a full meeting of the 'Jeonse Fraud Victim Support Committee' over the past month and finally approved a total of 1,328 cases as victims of Jeonse fraud.


So far, the total number of cases approved as Jeonse fraud victims by the committee is 20,949. The number of approved cases for urgent suspension requests of light and public auctions is 869. A total of 15,663 cases of support are being provided to the determined victims, including housing, financial, and legal procedures.


Tenants who have received a notice of disapproval or have been determined as victims of Jeonse fraud can file an objection. Even if the objection is dismissed, relief can be obtained through reapplication in case of future changes in circumstances.


Tenants experiencing difficulties due to Jeonse fraud can apply for victim determination at the city or provincial office with jurisdiction over their residence.


Those who are determined as victims through the committee's resolution can receive detailed guidance on support measures through the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) Jeonse Damage Support Center (in-person, phone) and its branches (in-person).
