"To me, customers are 'life' itself."


This is the statement of Honorary Director Jeong Sun-nim, who received the Rookie of the Year Award within one year of joining the company and went on to sweep multiple Grand Awards, ultimately ascending to the position of Honorary Director at Dongyang Life Financial Services.


Originally a homemaker, she entered the profession of insurance planner through an introduction by an acquaintance. As of the first half of 2024, she has secured 367 new contracts and achieved a high contract retention rate exceeding 98% based on the 7th installment.


Her personal know-how for achieving excellent results includes setting high goals, consistent customer contact, and investing time. Instead of annual goals, she sets high daily goals and spends each day intensely to achieve them. Once a daily goal is met, she sets an even higher goal for the next day, never placing limits on herself.


Given the outbound sales nature, where all processes are conducted over the phone, she considers "honesty" and "sincerity" as the most important virtues. She first considers what coverage is lacking among the customer's existing contracts, especially what needs to be prepared in case of a cancer diagnosis. She sincerely conveys to customers the results of her careful consideration of the optimal coverage without any deficiency or excess. While passionately explaining, there are times when her face turns red and she feels energized, but when the contracts, which were difficult to conclude, later result in insurance payouts such as cancer diagnosis benefits, she feels both relief and great pride.


She said, "Dongyang Life Financial Services, which will be my first and last company, provides better benefits and conditions for long-term employees. I am well aware that the frontline staff are making strenuous efforts for this, and I tell my colleagues and rookie planners that if they trust Dongyang Life and consistently do their best, good results will follow."


She added, "I dreamed of becoming an honorary director beyond being a role model for outbound planners, and having achieved that dream, I hope that my present and future selves remain the same. To this end, I intend to continue striving together with customers, colleagues, and the company."
