LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam Joins 'Busan Children's Expo' with Horses

Operation of 'Mini Horse Experience Booth'

You can meet horses at the 2024 Busan Children's Expo.

Korea Racing Authority Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam (Director Um Youngseok) will operate a "Mini Horse Experience Booth" at the 2024 Busan Children's Expo to introduce horses, which are rarely seen in daily life, to children and to inform them about various horse-related professions.

With the theme "Creating a Happy Korea for Children," the 2024 Busan Children's Expo will be held for two days on the 16th and 17th. Organized by the Children's Expo Organizing Committee and supported by Busan Metropolitan City, Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Busan Metropolitan Council, Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam, and various public institutions and companies, the event will feature a variety of experience booths for children.

At the "Mini Horse Experience Booth" of Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam, children from the city, who are unfamiliar with horses, will be introduced to horses and have the opportunity to feed and pet them. It is expected that children visiting the booth will develop emotional stability and curiosity about animals through their interaction with horses.

The booth will also offer horse-related career experiences as part of the Neulbom School program, introduce various horse breeds, provide horse safety education, and allow children to experience horseback riding using a riding simulator.

Um Youngseok, Director of Korea Racing Authority Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, said, "I hope many children will visit and have positive experiences with horses," and added, "We will work in cooperation with the local community to ensure that horses and horseback riding become familiar and accessible leisure activities for future generations."
